How We Collect and Use Information
Email Addresses
We won’t trade, rent or sell email addresses to other parties. We do collect email addresses that are given to us through our optional mailing list request forms and from online orders. If you’ve given us your email address, we may contact you with news about new products, services or upcoming events and promotions. If you choose to opt out of these mailings, you may do so at any time.
Postal Addresses
We do not trade, rent or sell postal addresses to any other parties. Postal addresses are only collected to ship orders and retained for contacting individuals with a question or information regarding their order.
Telephone Numbers
We don’t trade, rent or sell telephone numbers to anyone. Telephone numbers are only used for contacting people with questions or information about their orders.
Aggregate Site Statistics
We collect, in aggregate form only, the domain names of visitors to our site, as well as statistics about our sales, traffic patterns and related site information. These statistics include no personally identifying information and are used for marketing, sales reporting or improving the design of our website.
Order Source and Analytics
When you visit from a campaign, referral, affiliate link, or social post, we may store limited source details such as allowed UTM parameters, referral codes, product landing page, and checkout page with your draft or completed order. We use browser local/session storage to keep that source context through checkout, and we use services such as Meta Pixel and Klaviyo for site analytics and lifecycle messaging.
Terms of Service
1. Research Use Only
All products sold by Zhuo Yue Labs are intended strictly for laboratory research purposes only. They are not intended for human consumption, medical use, or diagnostic purposes. By purchasing, you acknowledge that these products have not been approved by the FDA for human use.
2. Buyer Responsibility
The buyer represents that they are at least 18 years of age and are affiliated with a laboratory, institution, or research facility. You agree that you have the necessary knowledge and equipment to handle these materials safely.
3. Limitation of Liability
Zhuo Yue Labs shall not be held liable for any damages—direct, indirect, or incidental—resulting from the misuse of these products. Use in any manner inconsistent with research purposes is strictly prohibited and at the user's sole risk.
4. Shipping, Returns & Reshipments
Shipping address: Please check your shipping address before placing an order. We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by an incorrect address provided at checkout.
Returns and cancellations: All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. An unshipped paid preorder may be cancelled for a full refund when its preorder disclosure allows it. If a preorder shipping estimate cannot be met, the applicable delay and refund terms take precedence.
Transit damage: Products damaged in transit are not eligible for a refund. Contact support to discuss the reshipment option below.
Missing items: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery if an item is missing. After review, we can replace the missing item at no additional cost. We do not issue refunds for missing items.
Lost or stolen packages: We do not cover uninsured packages lost or stolen in transit. If you purchased shipping insurance and the carrier confirms the loss, we can cover a reshipment or offer another resolution.
Reshipment option
We can reship your entire original package for 50% of the full amount originally paid, including shipping and fees. For example, an original payment of $100 results in a $50 reshipment fee.
The reshipment fee must be paid through a non-card method, such as Zelle, cryptocurrency, or Venmo. Card payments are not accepted for reshipments. Contact support with your name and order number to arrange the reshipment and receive payment instructions.
This option does not replace the no-cost missing-item replacement, insured-shipment resolution, or applicable preorder refund provisions above.

Customs and local requirements: Buyers are responsible for understanding their local laws. We are not liable for packages seized by customs or local authorities.
